One of the ways we can respond to the pressures put on us is to "reflect" God's light, and Love, back at the world. Reflection can mean stopping to think about where we see God, what we hear from God and what God is asking us to do. Taking the time to STOP and think IS a way of reflecting so that we can decide what we will listen to -- the world or God.
Another way of reflecting is to let God's light/Love shine through us. This reflection sends God's Love back into the world. Helping a world that is hurting to see, feel, experience and, yes, even prepare for Jesus' birthday and return.
Busy schedules, that get even busier the closer to the Christmas Season we get, are a good time for each of us to slow down, or as Psalm 46 says "Stop," and know God is God. This time of preparation is also a time of reflection.
How is God asking you to reflect on AND reflect "out" what God is showing you?
