I find it interesting that they could all "speak in other tongues" so that everyone visiting, and living, there could understand what God was doing. When we are sharing our story, of God's presence in our lives, do we think to tell it so others understand? Do we remember that everyone doesn't understand "church" language? Do we think to "just" tell how we have felt God's presence and where we think God is calling us to go/do? Are we still listening for where God does want us to go -- who God is asking us to share with?
That is why I'm encouraging the daily time with God. We need to not only be hearing where/what God is asking us to do we need to be filling ourselves with the strength of the Holy Spirit. We need to be, daily, spending time with God, filling ourselves with God's presence/strength/guidance so we can continue to go where God is leading.
When I was in seminary one of my favorite acronyms was "God, U and I Dance" GUIDANCE. One of my favorite hymns is "Lord of the Dance." Now is the time! Let us be FILLED with the Holy Spirit, following God's "guidance" as we dance with the Lord!
