A prophet is defined as "a person who speaks for God or a deity, or by divine inspiration" as well as "a person chosen to speak for God and to guide the people of Israel." We've been in a season of added prayer, which my prayer is means we are stronger in our relationship with God, so "prayerfully" we are being inspired by God. We are being inspired to speak up -- like when we hear the name of our Lord taken in vain? Inspired to speak up -- like when we see a need for food, clothes or even prayer?
I can tell you that "prophets," from the Old Testament to today, usually respond to the question (or call from God) with "who me -- you must have the wrong person." Isaiah, my friend(!), is one of the few that said "here am I send me." At the same time we are prophets. We are listening for what God is asking each of us to do or say. We are trying to help where we see a need -- like food for the food shelves, prayer shawls, and hats, scarves and mittens.
The question is WILL WE? Will we DO what God is asking? Will we SPEAK up? Will we answer "who me" with "yes, Lord, I will follow where you lead."
