That is what I'm asking about/for during this Lenten season. What do you see as you are spending time with God? I've asked people to spend "more" time with God - to increase time in Scripture talking to, and with, God. Now I'm curious how it is going but I also want people to think about what they are seeing. This is an interesting time, way of, seeing God in everything around us.
One of the ways I, personally, have "seen God" is in the ways I've been able to thank God for what is happening around me (us). I have already seen the changes people are feeling from spending more time with God. I'm very thankful for this but also want to remind people to STOP and see. Stop, and see, where God is. Stop and thank God for what God is doing, for how (and where) you see God -- in the beautiful sunset/sunrise, the birds at the bird feeder, the deer -- wherever you 'see' God in your life. Thanking God is another way of "stopping" to see where God is.
I know, another "new" thing to try. But, like last week, I have to tell you it is an awesome way to stop and focus on God!
